Chemical Analysis of Essential Trace Elements in Wastewater Samples Collected from Four Different Mines
نویسندگان
چکیده
Mine water contains trace heavy metals which are some essential elements in high concentrations causing the pollution of nearby bodies, related ground waters and soils degradation. The aim study is to identify quantify present different mine samples their level toxicity. Digestion technique was employed pretreat wastewater before analysis. Physicochemical analysis conducted for pH, electrical conductivity (EC), total dissolved solids (TDS), salinity. collected from four locations Sample A (Gold mine), B (Copper C (Iron D (Tin mine). raw or untreated were analyzed using inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectroscopy (ICP-OES). results showed all Mn, Cu, Fe Zn. Cu highly concentrated copper (73.87 mg/L) tin (2.09 while dominant gold (7.19 iron (13.12 mine. In conclusion, mines very can be harmful human life environment but Zn entire within permissible standard drinking hence it pose no threat life.
